After a full year of agonizing, chronic pain with TMJ... Trips to 2 dentists, a Periodontist, a Endodontist , 2 eight week sessions of physical therapy, accupuncture , deep inside and outside facial massages, several night guards made, time missed from work ..,missed outings with friends..,, several suggestions to go to the medical College of Virginia... and several thousand dollars spent , insurance doesnt recognize TMJ. I have finally, finally, through the help of Dr. Chapman and her wonderful staff found some PEACE. They crowned a back tooth and the pressure has finally eased . Yesterday was the first full day without having a nite guard in my mouth 24/7 since last November. I go back for my permanent in 2 weeks and with Gods grace , hopefully I am in the road to being pain free. I want to thank all of my friends , especially my coworkers who have listened tirelessly at my complaining and my time off at work . With my moms help I am able to take off the rest of this week to help settle the facial muscles down .. And a big shout out to Tasha King, Mary Goodwin, and Sharond Allen for picking up the slack for me and understanding, I love you all. Thanks to Lenny my best friend and husband who has been thru this nightmare everyday with me. Im looking forward to a good Christmas and a New Year making up for the last 💜💜💜💜💜💜
