After a month in in England, we now, finally, have Internet! We got our connection finalized this morning - what a great Thanksgiving Day present. We are truly grateful to be here in the Leeds England Mission. We will be serving for our full two years in the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, a wonderful city on the Tyne River in northeast England. Our specific assignment is to be finding lost members - we call it finding His lost sheep - and we have met some wonderful people in our searching so far. We love Newcastle - the people here are terrific, and we love their dialect (what they call Geordie, as they were supporters of one of the King Georges long ago). :) We will be able to check facebook occasionally, but will likely be checking only this page. Now that we have our Internet, we will be able to do regular blog posts, and will be sharing those here, as well. We send the happiest of Thanksgiving wishes to all of our friends and loved ones. We love and miss you, but know that we are doing the Lords work here where He needs us to be. We are grateful for all of you and your support and prayers.
