After a valiant attempt by my daughter Jess and the staff at Strong Memorial Hospital to keep Jess pregnant for as long as possible, Autumn Natalka Genevieve Peters was born at just 26 week gestation. She weighed less than 2 pounds. To pay the rent and keep the lights on and and feed everyone, Jess and Tony must continue to work. That means they must go back and forth from Canandaigua where they live, to Strong Memorial in Rochester where Autumn is in NICU until early October, EVERYDAY. The cost is huge and many days they just cant get to see her. But thats not good for Jess or Autumn. The more breast milk Autumn gets, the better her chances are to grow and survive. The more contact Autumn gets with her mom and dad, the better her chances of developing normally are. The hospital asks that they spend at least 8 hours a day with Autumn but because of rising bills, daycare groceries, etc thats just not possible. Even just getting there 5 times a week for a couple hours is a chore. Many nights Tony and Jess come home from a full days work and then tuck Skyly in with Greg and me and Spend half the night at the hospital just to get 4 hours sleep and get up for work the next day and do it again. Thats where you come in. Please help. They need money, gas, gas cards, wegmans cards, diapers. Almost anything would help at this point. Feel free to paypal me or email me or message me if you can help in any way. I want to remind you that these costs were not expected, Jess was assured BY HER DOCTOR that she would go full term this time so they did not save up for this event. Also, these costs will continue until Autumn comes home perhaps as long as October but definately as long as September unless Jess can spend 24/7/365 with Autumn (her improval rate gets better faster with Mom there all the time). We are trying to arrainge a Car wash Fundraiser as well, in Canandaigua if anyone can help with that. Thank you so very much, From the top, bottom and middle of my whole heart. Greg & Heather Johnson
