After an entire weekend of cleaning and re-cleaning the computer to get rid of some niggling adware, it turned out to be an incredibly simple fix. We went so far as to attempt to wipe Mozilla and every other non work/operating system related program from the computer. Didnt work. We got advice from several friends who work with computers for a living. Still had adware. We must have downloaded over ten different kinds of programs to get rid of the problem. NONE worked. Not even a little. After talking it over with Brian we figured it had to be isolated to Firefox alone. Probably not even on our hard drive (?). Simply Brian restarted Firefox with Add ons disabled (I went to bed). And the adware was gone. Just like that. Next step was to let Firefox reset itself. It took all add-ons out and put them in a folder. We deleted the folder, and that was that. :P
