After being very disappointed by the swift disintegration (within 2 or 3 months) of a pair of de walt steel toe capped work boots. (the outer rubber sole peeled away from the foot). I am looking for a new pair of work/safety boots (steel toe capped or similar). Probably willing to spend £100-£150 (or more) if they will last. I know there are traditional boot and clog makers that can be sought out. But what are you wearing and what would you recommend. Need to cope with walking the streets, woodland and workshop. I dont use a chainsaw so they dont need to meet british standards for this, but I do sometimes drop logs on my feet! Local (uk) would be best.
