After days of electronic and physical surveillance, Michael J. Herring, 31, of South Portage Path in Akron, was arrested in Columbus, Ohio. Around 7:30 a.m. this morning, the Columbus Fugitive Task Force took Michael Herring into custody without incident. Michael J. Herring was wanted for aggravated murder in the shooting death of Ronnie L. Travis on July 14, 2014. Herring is being held in the Franklin County Jail pending an extradition hearing.
