After extensive efforts in the final crunch the Workers Compensation Bill is back!! ASNY was successful working with our Sponsors and lobbyist to have all aspects of the MD Referral, which was slipped in late last Friday, completely removed. Please monitor your emails closely over the next 48 hours for a list of those to be contacted in the final 3 days of session! In the Assembly the new bill is A5940C and in the Senate it reverted back to S3131A. Assembly movement is swift and in the right direction. The Senate appears stagnant which we are currently investigating. Phone calls will be needed shortly! Thank you to all who helped maintain our independence and successfully remove the amendment!
