After many hues and cries, twists and turns, the battle for the soul of the land of Virtue has been fought, won and lost. However, for the sake of clarity, history and posterity, I consider it necessary and germane to pass a message across to the public. Dear friends, let me expressly state that contrary to the comments most of you posted on my status updates before the election and which some are still posting till now, I wish to say that nobody can buy me with money. My support can only be bought with ideas. I am a controversial person. If you give me money in order to change my believe or bend my principle to support you, you are just wasting your hard-earned resources. All you need to get my support is to convince me with ideas. Money is secondary. I am a character that always follow his conscience no matter how tempted... To this end, let me categorically say that the winner of yesterdays contest in the land of spring, Governor Rauf Aregbesola bought me with ideas and not money. I followed my conscience. Yes! As an human being, Aregbesola has his short-comings, but over-all, hes ok. Take for instance, I dont see Ogbeni as a Pretender. He doesnt use and dump people. He compensate loyalty and hard work with goodness. Also, while his colleagues in South West got the insignia of power and started increasing the school fees of their tertiary institutions, Aregbesola got power and reduced the tuition fee of UNIOSUN by 50%. That he did within 3 months he assumed office. The rest is paused till another day. Lastly, my message to those of you that had subjected my hard earned name and integrity to ridicule for following my conscience is this: Please continue! I wish all of you what you had wished and still wishing me. Some characters did more than you did during and aftermath Ekiti decides. In fact, some went to the extent of hacking my facebook account in order to prove a point and to rubbish my name. Please continue with your destructive acts because it makes me stronger.
