After reading about the Cleveland Police Union head calling athletes quiet protests pathetic behavior I couldnt stay quiet anymore. Here is an article I wrote about why we SHOULD speak out, published on Next Impulse Sports. Often its the members of our communities who are our biggest supporters and motivators. This helps to shape our sense of self and our influential role within our communities. Thank you all for the support as I try to make the sports world a better, safer, and more fair place for all athletes at all levels. I promise to continue this effort because shit.... someone has to do it and it has to come from us, athletes.
