After some very intense and positive months of starting the Braila project in May 2014, the vets Dr Garofita Hofmann and Rudi Hofmann together with their team headed by Dana Hobinca from DOG RESCUE ROMANIA are facing a terrible hardship: Braila City Hall threatened within some days notice to start killing the dogs in Braila Public Shelter. This after they had started to treat, feed and rescue the poor souls in the LAGER. After having succesfully started with spay/neuter campaigns in town, costfree for the citizens and payed by foreign donations and made pro-bono by the fantastic vets. All they got until now IS SOME TIME BEFORE KILLING WILL START. I CANNOT SEE THEM BRAKE AND I CANNOT SEE THESE DOGS DIE. PLEASE HELP BY DISTANT ADOPTION (25 EUROS/MONTH) TO SAVE SOME LIVES! Garofita Hofmann can give details about distant adoptions. WE, A GROUP OF SUPPORTERS, ARE DESPERATELY TRYING TO FIND SOLUTIONS. PLEASE HELP. Sharing with ALL my friends in rescue, across UK, Europe, USA ... These are BRAILA DOGS, some of the 400 in the public shelters of Lacu Sarat, Romania .... on Death Row and on very very borrowed time. Who amongst you will stand up and say I cant take this any more?? These dogs face imminent death.
