After speaking last night with key people who are trying to save - TopicsExpress

After speaking last night with key people who are trying to save the two remaining horses at a boarding stable in Drums, PA (Butler Township, Luzerne County) , it looks like the Chestnut is too weak, too far gone even to be moved to foster, and is not expected to last out the weekend :( How could it EVER get this far and go on for so long??? This is tragic, gut-wrenching and its CRIMINAL... People (including the owner of the stable where theyre boarded, other boarders and the wimp-ass humane officer who decided to give the owner a second chance - WHAT?!) saw this decline day after day, knew they were starving and basically did nothing until it was too late because the owner is (reportedly) a bully with a penchant for physical violence and exerting political pressure on his detractors. Im mad as Hell that abusers get to walk while their victims get to die... Are we going to make him pay for this abuse, for this MURDER? ARE WE?????????? Please, dont wait another minute - contact the SPCA at (570) 825-4111 and reference case #20141207M0004. Ask them what on Earth would prevent them from doing their jobs by getting these horses to safety away from their owner! Call Butler Township Police Administration @ (724) 285-9600 or pay them a visit @ 290 South Duffy Road, Butler, PA and ask them to launch an animal cruelty investigation. You can also contact the Luzerne County District Attorney and make her aware of the situation at (570) 825-1674 or fax her @: Stefanie J. Salavantis, Esq. Fax # (570) 825-1622. Please be kind and respectful - we DO need her to prosecute this fool! The best action may be to contact the news stations - WBRE-TV Newsdesk 1-800-358-9273 or email them at: Newsdesk@pahomepage. WNEP-TV at: 1-800-533-6397 OR email them at: Newstip@wnep. Get busy, warriors - THIS NEEDS TO GO VIRAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
