After spending around 2 1/2 hours weeding in my yard, Ive come to a few thoughts and conclusions: 1. If I get the entire yard finished by Fall, after all the pulling, bending, lifting, etc., I will have larger muscles than Arnold did in his prime. 2. I have 7,683,802 baby maple trees in my front garden area. I have only pulled up half of them so far. 3. Even my FAMILY roots arent as long as some of the weed roots I battled with! 4. After trying to decipher between what is a plant, and what is a weed, I feel it is acceptable to just start yanking everything. 5. Im confident the neighbors are thrilled to see us finally getting to the yard. 6. Im HOPING they know we are NEW neighbors. 7. My neighbor to the left must be a lovely woman, since she has a lovely lawn, yet never complained that my weeds crossed the line and were climbing her mailbox. 8. Using only your two hands to pull weeds, you still come in feeling like a walking mass of pollen. 9. I deserve Double Dunker ice cream. 10. I hope Dan brings some home.
