After studying the fixture we have put together our 2014 ladder prediction, and it stands as follows: 1. Hawthorn 2. Sydney 3. Fremantle 4. Geelong 5. Richmond 6. North Melbourne 7. Collingwood 8. West Coast 9. Adelaide 10. Essendon 11. Carlton 12. Port Adelaide 13. Western Bulldogs 14. Gold Coast Suns 15. Brisbane 16. Melbourne 17. St Kilda 18. GWS We believe this is the year that Richmond will really challenge the big teams and they may even finish in the top 4 to many peoples surprise. After West Coasts good pre season it is hard not to put them in the top 8, but positions 7-11 are extremely close and could go either way depending on a couple of games. We still believe GWS will be the wooden spooners with some slight improvement from the demons and if North Melbourne can manage to not choke then they will find themselves entrenched in the 8.
