Today I saw a woman that seemed pretty depressed. She stared at me and I stared at her a good while, on and off. She sat closer to me so I said hello. We talked and talked and it turns out she was having a really rough time. She had no money, no support, and she wanted to go back home to see her kids. She had a ticket that only went half way, it was all she could afford. I asked her if I could see her ticket and kindly handed it to me. I went to the main desk changed it, and payed what was left. I walked back and I handed her the new ticket and she was shocked, amazed, heart warmed. I smiled and said, go home. See you kids and tell them that theyre not alone, they have you. Maybe I dont have much money but I make the most of what I have. Everything has a reason. Mine, is to survive and help survive.
