After taking $1.1b from tax payers, we still see frequent train - TopicsExpress

After taking $1.1b from tax payers, we still see frequent train breakdowns and overcrowding. Worse, if you happen to be caught in a train disruption and want to take a bus instead, be prepared for either chronic overcrowding or excessively long waiting times of 13-18 mins. All this despite PAP taking $1.1b of our money to give to their pet money-spinning machines they call the PTOs. Too add insult to injury, you have PAP cronies like Kishore Mabubhani and Cham Tao Soon who say Sporeans love to complain. These are the same cronies who dont take public transport and are earning millions. Worse, Lui even said four days ago that the number of train disruptions this year has gone down! Much ail this country: profiteering by the PAP, rent-seeking by its agencies, a lack of effective voice for the average citizen, cronyism which has seen many incompetent individuals being appointed to head public sector agencies, not to mention the PTOs, oligopolies and duopolies dressed up as competition... We have to not just vote for more opposition politicians into Parliament. We have to make it right through increased civil activism to persuade the many misguided to vote for a change. Pls spread and share this message. This cannot go on.
