After watching some little tike center fielder from Minnesota turn on the water works after a miscommunication between himself and the short-stop on a shallow pop fly allowing a run to score in the 1st inning, I thought of this little addition to tournament rules - I submit that in the qualifying rounds of the Little League World Series, if any player sheds a single tear during game play their team should automatically be eliminated from the tournament - Right there and then, no questions asked. Literally take the kids off the field and send them home. If they cant handle the Mid-West Championship, theyre going to have a mental breakdown in Williamsport and embarrass not only themselves, but their community/state.
