Aggravated tonight-just put a payment in the mail to the VA for $1200 on a credit card because my $200 a month payment wasnt sufficient and they were going to take Bens 30% disability payment for the next 4 months to get their money back. Obviously, paying the bill isnt my issue, because as I said, I was making a $200 monthly payment. My issue is this-if I wanted to fill out a 17 page packet of our life history, they wouldve broken the payments down over 36 months which would mean they would get roughly $35 per month for 3 years, instead of accepting my monthly $200 payment and being paid back in 6 months. Yeah-our government is truly special.
