Agnes Update: Positive steps. She left the hospital Friday. My brothers and I spent the weekend caring for her. She is recovering nicely from pneumonia. She is exhausted from her reaction to the sodium depletion. Her heart medication seems to be the culprit for her electrolyte ( sodium, potassium) problem. Shes no longer taking any medication for arrhythmia and seems to be staying in a regular rhythm. Her blood pressure, which was running high, was being treated, but has caused a drop in heart rate. That medication is being adjusted, hopefully her heart rate will come up soon. She is going to spend some time in the nursing home, to have supervised care and rehab. Hopefully, she will improve and be home in a few weeks. Shes happy to have a safe place to recover and we are praying she will soon be living independently. Thanks for your concern and good wishes. Please continue to pray. She really enjoyed hearing about the good thoughts sent her way.
