Ahh, but they soon will be once they are given amnesty! Which, the ACA needs the estimated 12 million immigrants $$$ to survive in the short term. Notice that this video states that the estimated amount of illegal/undocumented immigrants in the country, at that time, was 12 million....but today in the news we are only being told 4.5 million?? The reality is over 20 million. The DHS estimated there were 11.5 million in January 2011 and the estimated increase per year is 1.5 million. Based on this, there should be an additional 6 million since the DHSs estimate. Plus, the DHS estimate is based on the Census figures and doesnt consider: In addition, there are roughly 30 million foreign nationals admitted to the U.S. each year on temporary visas. There are no data on the percentage of these visitors who overstay their visas Some estimate the true number to be closer to 40 million. If each had to pay $20 per month for Healthcare (which they will be required to pay much more than that), that would add 800 million towards Obamacare....each month. So when the politicians tell you amnesty is the right thing to do, what they mean is amnesty is going to temporarily provide the necessary funding for Obamacare so the American people dont realize we screwed them before the next Presidential election.. The architects of the ACA estimate the individual costs to double soon (2015). I say temporarily because the ACA isnt affordable for everyone, primarily for this group. They assume everyone who is required to pay will pay. Plus, a lot of these individuals will not be required to pay because they dont make enough income. What also isnt included is the additional longterm strain on our Healthcare system that such a large number of additional individuals will create. In addition, many will bring diseases that were once eradicated in the U.S. causing additional strains on our Healthcare system and costs. The moral of this post: Politicians do one thing good....LIE.
