Ahhhh!!! Ok after being in Vegas and Cali n seeing beautiful women take care of themselves fitness wise...it has been CRAZY as to the mindset in Korea in terms of social norms especially to muscular fitness wise... I was in the NPC scene...and honestly I would totally date a gym rat over a barbie clubber any day of the week... But in Korea... plastic surgery, eating less, skinny jeans and crying over the weight scale are social norms...GRRRRR!!! I know in Seoul n other metros its changing...its a slow process to any cultural norm...but this BBC report is pretty spot on to the fact you have a culture that is based upon social gatherings n eating, media n entertainment that has VERY FEW stars with bumps humps n curves, and is VERY VERY fashion centric (skinny people look good in clothes, fit people look good naked!!!...and its pretty looked down upon to show skin in public here...men or women, lol!) Glad to see this is changing and cheers to those to take the hard road and pave their own road dispite what social norms say is unpopular!!! ♥♥♥
