Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! It feels sooooooooooo good to make someone grovel at your feet sometimes! Especially when they so deserve it. No I am not talking about an individual, but I am talking about someone I have remained with faithfully the last 11 years. For the third time this week I have been putting some fire under the butts of none other than Dish Network! I spent almost an hour on the phone with them early this morning and let them know a few cold hard facts, that just may hurt them. I am not under any kind of contract with them at all and it has come way past time that they need to cater to me if they should choose to keep this loyal customer in their fold. Yes I used Fox against them as well as a local channel KXII channel 12 that disappeared some time ago. Ohhhhhh yes it felt sooooooo good. I informed them that as of the 4th of next month if they failed to return what I wanted for once which is Channel 12 as well as Fox Network, they could in fact, kiss this customer goodbye. I also reminded them of the millions of calls they have been receiving and asked them if they could handle losing 3 or 4 million customers at one time. They were ready to step and fetch then. I fell a month behind to them some time back because they chose to raise my rates to $62.99 a month for the lowest package while they lured new customers in at $19.99 a month. I informed them that is extremely unfair to people who have stuck with them for 11 years through all their crap. They started out by offering me several movie packages for 3 months and I informed them I rarely watch those movie channels to begin with. Told them they could offer me every channel they carry for 20 years, but unless they put Channel 12 and Fox Network back on I was history. Then they told me they would cut my rate to $47.99 a month for 6 months and I told them what good does that do if I am GONE. I told them basically what they have done is out priced themselves from my budget while taking things away from me all the time and I didnt appreciate it. In the long run they promised to forgive the balance due as well as give me 6 months of $47.99 a month while they worked with Fox. In the long run I told them yes I would appreciate that but they would still be leaving if they continue to tell lies and not supply me Channel 12 and Fox. So that is what I got them to do and still held my ground making them return to me what I had in my contract to begin with. So they aint real happy but who cares. I think every customer with them should call them up and put them through the ringer. It helps if you arent under contract with them so you can make it instant and not down the road, but its time for these big companies to start understanding they dont set the rules.
