Fellowship Why go to church? Hebrews 10:25 - Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Have you ever heard someone say, I dont have to go to church to worship. I think we all have. But the truth is that God tells us to be in fellowship together, so we can lift one another up and help each other with our walk while we wait for Gods return. There is so much that happens when we go to church, when we fellowship together. We are taught, we are encouraged, we encourage others, and we praise and worship God together. Getting recharged to go out and face this world. Hebrews 10:24 - And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: When we meet together we can encourage each other to provoke Gods love and to live a life that He would truly want us to live. Have you ever been so angry or sad or anxious that you felt like you were going to explode? That is when you need to be in the bible and with people that have like beliefs, other Christians. That is when you need to be in the House of God with fellow believers. So that they can encourage you and lift you up. That you may be taught the word of God and get instruction on how to apply it to your life. We need Godly fellowship, with each other in the church as we wait for Gods return. Colossians 2:2 - That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; We are to comfort one another. Your church family is always there to love you through your trials. Because we are knit together in to Gods family. Together we will learn all the mysteries of God. Together we will learn about His love and be comforted. We will be taught, so that we can have complete confidence that we are saved and going to spend eternity in heaven. Sometimes in this world we need to be reminded that we are truly saved, that we have asked Jesus into our hearts, we have asked Jesus to forgive our sins, and that our names are written in the Lambs Book of Life. So we can spend eternity with the Father. We need the love of Fellowship. So that being said please make an effort to be in a Bible based church so that you can be encouraged and get strength enough to get back out into this world. Confident in your position in Christ.
