Aksionov officially admitted the food crisis in occupied Crimea The so-called acting head of the Crimea, which has been occupied by Russia, Sergiy Aksionov, ordered his deputy Mikhail Sheremet today to organise “green corridors” at the border for the sped-up admittance of produce imported from the territory of continental Ukraine to the peninsula. The according order was given by Aksionov in the morning of June 9th at the apparatus session in the “Council of Ministers” of Crimea, reports “Glavcom.” “It is necessary to diffuse the situation during this week,” said Aksionov after the report of the Crimean “Minister of Economical Development” of Crimea Svetlana Verba regarding the pitiful state of affairs at the food market of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the swift increase in prices on socially significant groups of goods. Aksionov also ordered to organise daily monitoring of prices on socially significant types of produce in cities and regions of the peninsula. “Nobody will go on holiday before we regulate the situation,” threatened the leader of Crimean separatists. Earlier it has been reported that the Russian state budget will not give money to the development of the economy of occupied Crimea.
