Alabama the Beautiful! Who knew? We had a fun and exhausting time at Honeycomb Campground on Lake Guntersville this weekend featuring Elis Make-a-Wish pop-up from Bankston Motor Homes and a ski boat thanks to a friend of Vics at work. I have a new, lengthy post at stansgotafrog with lots of pictures from the weekend, and with some explanations and details about what is going on in the background. It is lengthy, but I hope you have time to read it, especially anyone from our school and community. Eli is doing pretty good, he seems to have recovered finally from the ear stuff, and is eating just ok. His energy and activity level is on the low end, and he seems to prefer more and more to just be home. I hope anyone who can will join us for the Bankston Motor Homes Light the Night Up 5k that our school is hosting in honor of Eli this year. Bankston is donating according to how many finishers we have, so run it, walk it, crawl it, whatever to finish it! Please, share the school link, and bring buddies. My heart is still heavy from the passing of Nolan, and with the news that little Braydens cancer is progressing. Please, pray diligently for the comfort of these two families.
