Alexandra was sitting in the park’s garden in the late afternoon - TopicsExpress

Alexandra was sitting in the park’s garden in the late afternoon of a fall day. She sat on the bench alone, pulling her died teal hair into a messy bun. She looked at the tattoo on her wrist of her young lover’s name which was carved on her skin in cursive. She smiled lightly and looked up as the wind blew past, brushing through her hair gently. The few strands that were out free blew around and looked like the light waves of the ocean. Alexandra tucked those strands behind her ears, turning to her left to see a familiar face nose to nose with her. “V-Vincent!” She gasped, sliding away slightly, near the edge of the bench, “You scared me!” She smiled, blushing lightly. Vincent smirked, his dark gray eyes staring into her beautiful green eyes. “Good afternoon, beautiful,” He whispered, leaning to whisper in her ear. She leaned back, slipping off the bench. ‘Oh!” She gasped falling on her bum on the stone ground. She winced, but then scowled at Vincent. “Heh, watch it, Alex,” He smirked, sliding off next to her. “How’ve you been today?” He asked poking her cheek. She shrugged casually, “I’ve been missing Ryan is all.” Vincent sighed, looking away from her lovely face and to the cloudy sky. Alexandra looked away, knowing Vincent truly loved her. But she couldn’t love back, could she? It would be wrong to… She looked back to Vincent. She looked at his long, dark brown hair which fell beneath his ears. His pale skin went beautifully with his dark eyes, along with his perfect smile and eyebrows.. He was just.. Beautiful. She then looked away again, sad and confused. Vincent turned to her, putting a hand on her chin, turning it his direction. “Well, think about it this way,” He whispered, licking his lips slowly, “at least you have me?” He said, his eyebrows going up willingly. Alexandra blushed, smiling, “Yeah, thanks…” He leaned closer, kissing her nose softly, then pulling back. He smiled at her, a small smile, but it was still perfect anyways. Alexandra leaned towards him, then blinked, shaking her head. She bonked her head against his shoulder, then stood, brushing off her jeans. “I have to go, mother’s probably worrying.” She whispered, smiling down at him. He opened his mouth to protest, but instead, he just pulled her back down into his lap, wrapping his arms around her. “C’mon, just for a few,” he said, with an innocent grin on. Alexandra sighed, rolling her eyes sarcastically, “Fine, but just for you, Vinny,” She giggled, blushing. She then remembered Ryan, then shuddered, pulling away, “Sorry, but… we can’t cuddle…” She whispered. Vincent let go slowly, blushing, “Yeah, uh, sorry…” They sat there in silence, awkwardly. The wind blew past them, whispering words of love in their ears. After a few moments, Alexandra stood, saying, “I must take my leave now, I’ll catch you later, Vin!” She said, running off. She ran all the way to her house, her mind flustered and cheeks as red as cherries. Lost in space as she ran along the sidewalk, avoiding people, she thought about the whole thing in her mind again. She suddenly crashed into something tall and tough, she gasped, eyes shutting fast as she fell back, but something stopped her. “Oh! Alex??” Alexandra heard a familiar voice. It was Ryan! Her eyes shot open as she straightened up, leaning forward to kiss him, “T-Thanks, sorry..” She said, pecking his lips gently. “What’s the hurry, babe?” He said, smiling, his light dirty blonde hair blowing lightly. Alex melted, her eyes narrowing as she looked at his beautifully featured face. His light tan skin glowed with health, his brown eyes glowing as well. He smiled, pulling her up straight all the way, “You alright?” He said, kissing her cold cheeks. “Y-Yeah, sorry..” She said, smiling nervously, the whole event with Vincent running through her mind. She blinked, smiling a shaky smile up at her lover. Then, she finally answered, “I just have to get home.. That’s all..” She kissed his cheek, then said pulling away, “Gotta run, love you!” she ran quickly away, not even looking back at the worried expression on Ryan’s face. Vincent strolled through the park, a long, bored expression worn on his face. A picture of Alex popped into his mind. He stopped near a tree and leaned against it, tilting his head up with his eyes shut as he thought about Alex. He truly cared and loved for Alex, even if she had a boyfriend. He would always love her. He tilted his head back down, looking at couples strolling in the park. He winced, thinking about the rejected feeling he had felt when Alex had moved away. He pushed away from the tree, jamming his hands in his sweatshirt pockets, strolling past the lovey dovey couples and down the leaf-filled path. (My first Lovey Fanifc, for my friend!)
