Ali Kay - The act of creating makes Ali Kay come alive. Art has been her passion since childhood. Ali grew up in West Bend, Wisconsin. She founded her decorative painting company Positive Space shortly after finishing High School in 2002 at the age of 19. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2006. Her focus at UWM was in painting and drawing with a minor in Art History. She married her husband Jason in 2007 and in 2010 she relocated the art company to Houston TX. While in Houston, Ali worked with numerous talented interior designers on a variety of decorative painting projects. Over the last 3 years, 6 of her murals have received design awards from the American Society of Interior Designers. Ali recently moved to Chattanooga TN. She opened the new Positive Space studio at Chattanooga Workspace in the spring of 2013 and continues to grow her already extensive portfolio. 2014 Spring Faux Retreat, April 23 - 27 with the dynamic talents of instructors Diane Corso and Ali Kay.
