Alicia Beth Dawson has always had a passion for hair. Born and raised in Maryland her career started at the tender age of 12. Being a hair model allowed her to have the experience of being center stage, as well as the excitement of being behind the scenes. Junior High and High School were filled with sports, theatre, and working in the Salon. From studying theatre Alicia Beth developed a love for acting, anything that involved a language accent. Private voice, dance, and acting classes filled her high school and college career. The University of South Carolina provided diverse cultures were she majored in Biology and French. Alicia was able to dive into a career in hair and flourish. Now under the watchful eye of acting coach Manuel Poblete, she has been able to take her acting and writing skills to new levels and produce her first short film JUST LISTEN. Where she played the lead role in a funny short comedy of what all actors and actresses go through when telling their parents about their acting auditions. https://vimeo/108537770
