All Bridgeport kids deserve access to quality pre-k, which helps ensure theyre prepared to one day compete for 21st century jobs. That’s why today – joined by Senators Blumenthal and Murphy, as well as local officials – I visited a pre-k class at Beardsley School. We celebrated our city getting federal funds for 270 new and improved pre-k seats. Its great news for hundreds of Bridgeport kids. We still have a long way to go, but were getting closer to universal pre-k every day.
