All Erasmus + programs at LEAP le Buat PIC : 94 90 15 894 LEAP-CFA le Buat (Maule, France) is a private agricultural vocational secondary school and a post-graduate training centre. Its two vocational departments are Pet Sale and Services. Le Buat is a private Catholic boarding school whose ethos is formulated on the principle of care and respect for others. The medium size of the school and its convivial atmosphere allow our students to focus on academic issues while developing independence and a sense of personal responsibility. As a vocational school, we provide our students not only with theoretical knowledge but also hands-on professional experience via numerous internships and projects (eg. Rivière Vivante research on the local river Mauldre, participation in the local cultural festival Toutmélé in Maule, Leonardo Mobility Project). Le Buat offers classic full-time learning cycles as well as apprenticeship cycles attended by 360 students aged 14 - 18 and coming mainly form small towns and villages in the schools vicinity.The school’s main building is the 18th century brick-and-stone chateau in the classic style, surrounded by a large park ‘forestière’. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities and events such as theatre club, creative writing club, nature club, sports activities, or the citizenship week and solidarity week. Le Buat puts a great emphasis on language learning and international cooperation: a Leaonardo mobility project was launched in 2012, and there are plans to open a European section in September 2013. The present Comenius project, therefore, would become an important component of the schools policy.
