All Powerful and Sovereign Father, Creator of mankind. Lord, it is amazing that You knew me, You formed me while I was in my mother’s womb. Great is Thy power, great is Thy mercies, great is Thy salvation. To God be the glory, great things He hath done! You are the God Who provides. Thank You for Your provision. I recall the time Moses disobeyed You. After all his years of obedience and leading Your people out of bondage, in a particular situation he didn’t obey and the consequences of his disobedience were real. Lord, I just bring this up because I realize with me or anyone else, we are prone to fall, to become weak and yield to the flesh, the world, to temptation. And, I know the consequences of any yielding are real. I know with Moses, he could not go into the promise land, but You showed mercy and at least let him see the promise land. For each of us, for our nation, who has rebelled against You, I pray for Your mercy. I pray for parents who are leading their children down the wrong path, who are setting the wrong example for their families. I pray for business owners and supervisors who are yielding to the world of greed and are not setting a path to integrity. I pray for church leaders who are not upright before You in their private lives. I pray for government leaders who are dishonest and only care about themselves or their party instead of putting the country before themselves and their agenda. Lord have mercy!
