All are aware of the current situation in Kashmir. The complete city is flooded with water all over. Water has reached to a level that 3 floor buildings are completely immersed. Centre for Islamic Studies (CIS) Welfare Trust, Bangalore is a govt. registered organisation working towards social cause. Currently, it has come forward to join hands in the rescue & rehabilitation work for our brothers & sisters stranded in Kashmir flood. Currently there are so many remote places in Kashmir, where people are waiting for some help. The organization with the help of generous donors has been able to send few volunteers to Kashmir with 2 rafts & 40plus life saving jackets which could carry around 15 people at a time. CIS wishes to set up rescue camps so that the people who are evacuated from houses can have a resting place till the situation comes back to normal. Volunteers are required, especially doctors to personally visit the place & work on rehabilitation. Soon an Indian Air Force (IAF) flight too would be arranged exclusively for the cause and most of the materials would be sent. Professionals in particular field are requested to contact CIS & lend a helping hand in this rescue operation. Least you could do for the cause is to forward this mail to your contacts.
