All i want is to get a new suit stitched (any political affiliation/ similarity is totally unintended) i wanted to get a new suit stitched but by virtue of the past bad experiences with the diffrent tailors i was very confused as to how to pick up the right tailor this time !! one of my previous tailor was someone mis directed he ruined my suit 5 times rather than stiching from top to bottom he wud often stich it from sides first ... or from down upwards; sometimes he wud try to make it look like a mixture of various brands, he would make half of it long and the other half of it short; then i realized that he was just a show off, rather than buying thread for stiching he would buy very expensive hangers and buttons and then he would make a hue and cry that he had no money for the thread spools and he couldnt stitch the suit and it was all the fault of the Darzi nxt door as he didnt allow him the peace of mind; he was also very fond of going abroad where he used to sell his customers stolen cloth, while his chotas would be having full freedom to play havoc with, destroy and damage the hard earned clothes of his appointers !! in the end they would take 5 yrs to complete a suit that always remained incomplete and could nt be worn and they whould make a lot of hue and cry that this was all because of the machinery that ws provided to them as it was purposedly rendered faulty by the other darzi so as to make them look bad !!!!! i tried another one this time it was a lady tailor whose father was a reknown tailor and she was running the shop in his name. my father told me that his father ws good, however my badluck that he was not around in my time so i had to rely on her daughters skills in his reknown shop; she was equally bad, she pretended that she was taking yr size but all she was doing was she was getting predetermined sizes from darzi s abroad , and was totally submitting to their demands, the result being that the suits were not gtting any better; comeone , how can a suit stiched according to a foreigners size can fit a desi like me ??? soon she was killed by her husband who overtook the shop. he changed his own name according to the shop. he was really cunning and a true business man; he kept everybody happy and did everything to lie steal and cheat his time old customers in the name of his wife and FIL. in the end my hard earned cloth got wasted, again and again, and the suit never got ready, i remained half naked in my old rugged suit waiting for the new one to be ready another tailer was too much religious he would not accept a lounge suit to be made he only wanted to make a shalwar suit with shalwar as high as just below the knees he also wanted me to stop my foreign studies and stop speaking english. he said science is sin and all sinners shud b killed he also threatened me that if i would not wear the much too short shalwar suit made by him he would pass a fatwa to kill me .... i was frightened and ran away naked !! i am still half naked i am looking for someone to start off in the right direction to finish my suit i have heard the news that there is a new tailor in town he is loud mouthed and no body believes that he can stitch he on the other hand claims that he cn stich like nobody else can his manners are rough but it seems through his bodylanguage like he means business all the tailors in the market have made an alliance against him they are taking him as a threat to their life long business of lying cheating and stealing i am confused though i have ample cloth i am naked for the past many yrs should i take my cloth to the old ones , who i know for sure cant stich or wont stitch for one reason or the other plus i am pretty sure from my past experiences that they would lie cheat and steal for sure ... or should i try the new tailor he may b able to stitch or he may fail but still the chances are 50... 50... should i take 50% chance or should i decide that i should remain contended naked for the rest of my life ??? after all i want is a suit that suits me !!!!
