All jokes aside, just because someone dresses in that clean old school cholo or chola estilo it doesnt mean they are gang affiliated or a bad person. Some people love dressing in a specific fashion style that pays tribute to a specific era in time, there is nothing wrong with that. My dad was a big chuco thuggy long haired cholo back before there was cholo politics, until he met my mom and settled down. When I do my jokes about keeping my daughter away from cholos, I am acting like my dad back in the day keeping my sisters away from young jerky boys like him.
