Here is the link to share: https://facebook/events/1508260562775165/ On November 8, 2014 from 12:00pm- 3:00pm The Lab for Kids is opening its doors to the public for a nonprofit event. “Pennies for Parkinson’s” will be geared to educating children and their families about physics, and motion, through hands-on activities and experiments. We will also raise awareness about this life changing disease. With aggressive community outreach and education we believe that finding a cure can be possible! There is no cost to attend “Pennies for Parkinson’s, all that we ask is that our participants bring in their spare change to donate. All the proceeds collected will be donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research. Children will get to donate their pennies in a Hyperbolic Funnel that will illustrate the principles of planetary motion! Severin Sosa
