All of us at Gateway Motorsports Park would like to thank the racers and officials from the NHRA North Central Division (Division 3) for this weekends Lucas Oil Regional Drag Series event. Division Director Jay Hullinger has faced some interesting weather this season and the Gateway event was no different. Going into the event it was doubtful it would have been completed as we experienced record rain that triggered some other weather related issues. On Friday and Saturday there were times it was raining everywhere but the track. When all was said and done, the racing was fantastic and only finished a short time after the projected finish. We would like to thank the thousands of fans and special guests who made the first Lucas Oil Regional event special. Our 2015 dates for both the NHRA AAA Insurance Midwest National and the All-American Hot Rod Showdown will be announced in less than 3 weeks.
