All party delegation leaves for Kishtwar Chenab Valley AUGUST 19:- A high level all party delegation on Monday left for Kishtwar to assess the situation arisen due to recent disturbances in the region. The delegation comprised State President & MLA (NPP) Balwant Singh Mankotia , MLA (BJP)Ashok Khajuria, Prof. Nirmal Singh (BJP), President BSP, Tulsi Dass Langeh and State Treasurer BSP, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, President, Shiromani Akali Dal, S.H.S Raina, Spokesmen person and General Secy (NCP), R.S Beloria, Secretary Jammu Region,CPM, Sham Parsad Kesar, Provincial President, People Democratic Front, Tej Ram Dogra, MLC and Provincial President NC, Devinder Singh Rana, MLA and Senior Vice President, NC, S S Slathia, President, Samajwadi Party, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Ex-MP, Indian National Congress, Janak Raj Gupta, and Thakur Singh (Congress) Worthwhile to mention here that Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah had convened a meeting of all major political parties on August 12, 2013 at Jammu in which leaders of the INC, NC, PDP, BJP, NCP CPI(M), PDF, Shiromani Akali Dal and Samajwadi Party participated. All of them unanimously decided in the meeting that an all party delegation will visit Kishtwar to assess the situation. Accordingly, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Mr. Shantmanu conveyed to all the major political party leaders to proceed to Kishtwar on 19.08.2013 at 08.00 a.m. from Jammu. All the leaders of the major political parties had given their consent that they would proceed to Kishtwar on 19.08.2013 but finally the leaders of the above mentioned political parties only proceeded to Kishtwar.
