All the sophomoric arguments here pertaining to tattoos being wrong are found in one place in Leviticus 19:28 Let me educate you on what else that chapter says: For starters, Leviticus 19:37 clearly states: Therefore shall you observe ALL my statutes, and ALL my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD Which means you cant just cherry pick the laws that work for you to use in judgment of others (or yourself) and then simply negate what you feel is non-essential. This is also supported by the New Testament in Galatians 5:2-4 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey THE WHOLE LAW. You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace to be circumcised meant to be like the Jews and practice their laws and ways. With that said, allow me to remind you what else Leviticus says: - Lev. 19:19 states neither shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you ...%95 of what we wear is made with mixed garments and fabrics. - Lev. 19:26 You shall not eat anything with the blood ...How many of you like a nice rare or medium-rare steak or hamburger? - Lev. 19:27 You shall not shave around the sides of your heads, neither shall you disfigure the corners of your beard ....Were ALL guilty of this one! Still gonna hold tight to Leviticus 19:28? Ok, how many of you have your ears pierced? That same verse says not to cut yourself. What do you think a piercing is? You rest an incredulous argument on one verse to judge all tattood believers and now I will show you 8 different verses that tell you that we are NO LONGER ACCOUNTABLE OR UNDER THE OLD LAW....heres a bunch of scriptures that can be found in your Bibles supporting this - look them up! I dont have room to write them all out. Romans 6:14 Romans 7:4 Galatians 5:18 2 Corinthians 3:14 Colossians 2:14 Hebrews 8:13 Hebrews 10:9 Much like the Pharisees, Ill bet most of you dont follow all these old laws yourself but youll use them to attack others?
