All the sudden Democrats are supportive of separation of powers in the Constitution, but their application of the concept is limited to narrow, express political purpose. They do not apply the plain concept to Presidential creation of laws by fiat, selectively enforcing existing laws, or unilaterally re-writing provisions of existing law, notwithstanding the clarity of the Constitution and the Presidential oath. “... it’s a terrible thing, when you cross that line of separation of (powers). A lot of things people can complain about with our government, but the balance of power is so very important,” said Rep. Charlie Rangel (D – NY), who was hoping the allegations were not true. It is true. The President has selectively enforced duly enacted law and unilaterally re-written existing and duly enacted laws. What are they going to do about it?
