Medical insurance through your employer (need to bring last pay stub to determine medical insurance premium by paid) 3. Prescriptions value you paid 4. Travel insurance 5. Medical expenses paid outside of Canada 6. Travel expenses to get medical treatment within the Canada including the attendant 7. Boarding and lodging for the attendant if you travel to get medical treatment out of your hometown 8. Visitor insurance of the person vising you in Canada and you are primarily responsible for the visit (visitor must live more than 183 days in a year) 9. Super visa insurance for your parents/grandparents visiting Canada and you are primarily responsible for the visit (visitor must live more than 183 days during a calender year) 10. In the absence of visitor medical insurance if you have paid any medical expenses or hospital expenses for the visitor then those expenses can be claimed under medical expenses (visitor must live more than 183 days during that calender year in which you have paid the medical expenses for the visitor) If you missed out to claim any eligible medical expenses in the past 10 years then it can be claimed by sending the adjustment to the related tax year.
