All this awareness that the ALS organisation is getting through the Ice Bucket Challenge is fantastic, however it is worrying that less than half of the people who are doing these ice bucket videos arent actually donating to the cause, which is the main objective and aim of this whole scheme. Most people are doing the challenge for attention or for fun, which isnt wrong, but they are forgetting that the ALS disease is extremely serious and detrimental to many people, and for that I think we should be focusing our attention on the actual DONATION to the ALS organisation. which is why I think that people should add footage of their confirmation on the website after they donate. That way we know that its not all for the ice bucket side, but its also for the main goal, which is to raise money to help prevent this sad disease.
