Allhamdulilah. Just to give you all an update, I am absolutely delighted to announce that we have now 6 families sponsored. May I thank Shuly,Sufri and Josh for your donations to sponsor entire families as well as those who are contributing what they can via our website or by text. We have now sponsored Bela Begums family, and also the family of Faridah Begum. Farida originally from Chandpur has 7 children, the youngest of who is 11 months. Her husband has left her to fend for the children on her own. Also from Chandpur, we will be sponsoring the family of Salma Khatun who is an 80 year old lady with a 50 year old daughter, Rashida who is both disabled and deaf. Rashidas husband also left her and remarried. Salma has several other children. The extended family we will be supporting comprises 16 members. The next family we have sponsored is that of Kacha Miah, a 31 year old rickshaw driver from Brahmanbaria. Kacha Miah was recently robbed and all his life savings were taken from him.
