Almost 2 years to the day I got Lewis from Perry Barr, in that time he has had a bit of a time of it. Running into posts, being hit by a car (whilst on lead, in fact the car nearly took me and my other dog too) and finally having a chunk ripped out of his side by a whippet! He could only be off lead if there were no other dogs about as his over excitement and incessant barking at them came across more like aggression even though it wasnt. At times I have almost ran out of patience with him to the point of giving up, almost but not quite! The last month has been a revelation, its almost like a switch has been thrown in his head. He is greeting and playing normally with any dogs he now meets, the best is that he is finally playing with my other grey Dizzy. This has all been a long time coming but now I am seeing the dog that I always knew was in there. Good boy Lewis, I knew you could do it. .........
