Almost given up for adoption after her birth in 1931, Norma Jean - TopicsExpress

Almost given up for adoption after her birth in 1931, Norma Jean Youmans was raised by her grandparents, who had immigrated from Yugoslavia. She became a professional ice skater, dancer, teacher, and helped Dr. Josephine Magno establish the first hospice in Northern Virginia. There she created a unique program for terminally ill children using puppets as a communication tool. Mother of four children, after retirement she spent the last 15 years of her life writing. She was a Believer and committed Christian. Her wish was to share herself and her work with others. This page hopes to help meet her vision.
