Aloha , I know I am not the only one that supports Michael and our campaign to have him as the Representative for Makakilo & Kapolei. From the response from yesterday’s sign waving the wave of the public support is also in our favor! We all knew going into this campaign that we were going to be out spent by our opponent. But we had something that their camp didn’t have and that is a candidate that is not afraid of hard work, knows how to get things done, that understands justice and will stand up for everyone’s civil rights. If you doubt that then you have not seen his current volunteer activities. So just in case you need it, I included the list below. Then there is Michael’s day job in the Director’s Office of the State of Hawaii’s Department of Human Resources Development (DHRD). There they keep him just as busy where he is the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Director. If you are curious I have included a brief listing of his responsibilities below. Why am I telling you this? Well that is highlight the fact that Michael is uniquely qualified and has the know how to be an effective and accessible Representative for House District 42. Never mind the fact that Michael is the ONLY person running in this race that: Has first knowledge of how the different State Departments work. This is experience that you can only get from working in one State of Hawaii’s departments. He knows the issues for his district, since he grew up there and is an active member of his community. Has a track record that he is not afraid of hard work and can bring people together.
