Aloha The Maui Musicians Coalition for Disaster Relief is an idea in its infant stage that is already in motion. In an effort to establish a functional disaster relief team of volunteer Maui Musicians, Entertainers and Venues that is in place and ready to leap into action to provide an accurate and immediate funneling of relief funds and or emergency provisions at a moments notice. It takes time to arrange these things. We hope to eventually eliminate the lag time between these events and our response by being prepared to roll at a moments notice. In this Holiday time it is difficult to give when times are tough . Disasters and The sufferring of our fellow humans on this little planet are a fact of our existance and know no Holidays. In times of disaster, the innocent, , no matter whom nor what they are, if they are there, they cannot help but be affected. Every drop helps to fill the bucket... We are all just drops in an endless ocean... Your Kokua will be met in joyous celebration of Human Life and our Collective Striving to Become More for Each Other... We are currently visiting Venues to volunteer services for these events as well as putting together a Facebook Page where there will be a sign up sheet for Maui Musicians and Entertainers ( you part time Maui Musicians and Entertainers can sign up too!) To be on the roll call. (More details on the FB page to come) This is all formulating as we go so please bear with us!
