Aloha! Today is Monday, December 2, 2013. It was today, back in 1927 that, after 19 years of the Model T, Ford unveiled the Model A as its new car. I have one friend with a birthday today..Moira Haakensen, Happy Birthday to YOU!!! Sharing this wonder-where-the-hell-all-my-fresh-snow-is day with her are: The co-founder of Ringling Brothers Circus; Charles Edward Ringling(1863 d.1926), our 75th Attorney General, Edwin Meese(1931), the Hanoi Rocks! drummer who was killed in a car crash in a car driven by Motley Crues Vince Neil; Razzle(1960 d.1984), a set of legendary NHL twins, Rich and Ron Sutter(1963) an-nnnd...my good buddy, Kirk Schaefers all-time favorite quarterback from his 2nd favorite team, the Greenbay Fudge Packers; Aaron Rodgers was born this day, back in 1983 (Y) . We said goodbye to some history makers as well...like Colombian drug lord, Pablo Escobar, who died one day after his 44th birthday, back in 1993...and Alan Parsons Project singer/songwriter/pianist, Eric Woolfson, in 2009...rest in peace. Its Armed Forces Day in Cuba...have a great day, ALL :)
