Alright, enough joking around Friends, I came down here to Austin, Texas to meet back up with the city, which holds some of the best blues, and all around musicians in general here. Its time for me to head back to LA now though. I am now more ready than ever to move my life in a more positive direction. What could be more positive than the Progressive Rock/Metal of Umphreys Mcgee? Their music and lyrics are actually encouraging you to move your life in a more positive direction. Its supposed to make you want to do something like drink a cup of coffee and get out there in the world and do something about all that stuff that you like to sit around and just talk about, like how you dont like all the starting and stopping, or how you just want your whole life to be easy. You have to get out there and do your part not just so you can get by - but so that you can make actual progress. I am proud to say that I am proud of what I do and the direction my life that I am the one who is in control of is heading in now. Jake Cinniger is my hero - also went to Berklee College of Music - such a spectacular musician. All of these guys are. They all seem to have degrees or masters in music. This band has always been steadfast and dedicated to constantly creating musical arrangement that takes a lot of actual work.
