Alright folks. have some news on my knee. i have a bone spur starting to form on the top of my patella and i have bone growth on the outside of my knees. this isnt causing the pain which is on the inside of it. i also have an early onset of arthritis (oh joy). the physician asst. pulled up the surgical notes and consulted with dr wallace (the one who performed the surgery). come to find out the cartilage was taken out of the lateral side (outside) of my knee. if there is a tear on the medial (inside) of my knee, it should show up on mri. I am now waiting on a phone call to set up my mri appt. should hear in the next few days. I was also advised to see about not being so hard on my knees at work, but will do as much as i can tolerate. due to me needing to rest my knee a bit more when i am off and moms upcoming procedure, i have decided to forgo my trip to oklahoma and spend my weekend off at home. hopefully someday i can afford to take some extended time off and actually go somewhere. something to save for i suppose. at least i have a few answers and will hopefully be getting more in the near future.
