Alrighty... As with most folks that have been loading for any amount of time over about a week, Ive tried out a number of different presses and slowly determined what my needs are. That being said Ive decided that I want to get one single stage press thats going to stay around a while to compliment the others I have. Before anyone drinking blue Koolaid speaks up, I have a Dillon... its great. Its not going anywhere... Thats my progressive. This is about a good single stage.. Right now I think Ive narrowed it down to either the CH4D or the Forster. As I see it the CH4D would be better if I decided to get into bullet swaging later. Its a beast and can handle anything thrown at it. The Forster however would be the choice for most for precision rifle which is primarily what Id be using it for. Both work fine for decapping operations, and frankly I dont care about the priming on the press though the Forster might win in that regard since it seems to be consistent. Im leaning towards the Forster.... Any reason I should get the CH4D over it other than for potential future swaging?
