Alrighty. This week Im sharing some things I studied! Oh the gloriousness!! It was a really good week. A bit trying sometimes, but were are pushing though! Been dreaming every night this week. Really weird! Ive never dreamed so much in my life! In one of my dreams I dreamed that I had spoken Korean on my mission and grew my hair out down my back and dyed it bleach blonde. Weird, huh? Just realized...my birthday is coming up! How exciting. Im going to be TWENTY. Finally not a teenager. How great will be my joy when I can throw that title away! Had a hard day yesterday because all our appointments fell through but we visited a less active who had a very similar childhood to mine but with some even greater challenges. Even so, I could relate to him so much! My heart went out to him as he told us his story. We had a really spiritually intense conversation where both myself and my companion bore testimony of the Plan God has for all of us. He wasnt interested in coming back to church or even meeting with us again. But he was a sweet soul. Spiritually draining day! But an amazing experience nonetheless. Paul--Has a baptismal date! February 22nd! Please pray that he will come to church the next three weeks so that he can be baptized then. :D We know God has a great plan for him as member of this true church! AND hes an artist. How cool is that? Agnes-- Didnt meet us for our last appointment but we have high hopes for her. She accepted the invitation to read the Book of Mormon very readily. Please pray that she reads it and feels the Spirit testify to her of its truth! Shes quite an active lady for 83 and shes already said that she might come to church soon. :) Thank you for all your support, friends and family. :) Something cool that we have been doing is making a prayer list every week when we weekly plan and we pray for EVERYONE specifically that we plan to see that week. We have goals and vision for each. I love it! I feel so connected to each of them through prayer. I love praying more than anything right now. Seriously. EFFECTIVE PRAYER REQUIRES GREAT EFFORT. --Preach My Gospel So, if anyone can find any more awesome scriptures with the word DRAGON in them.. Id love to receive them! I want to do my next planner cover all about dragons. :D Found one! Mosiah 20:11 Heaven is a continuation of the ideal home. -- Preach MY Gospel I love PMG so much! It teaches us so much. So when I was studying, these quotes Im throwing out are things that stuck out to me. The best missionary work, the best spiritual growth we can have--is in our home. So remember to do things that invite the Spirit, pray, read scriptures, hang up things that are pleasing and happy. Speak quietly, not yelling in your homes. Spend time with your families in them. Do activities together to enrich your family relationship and come closer to God. I thought this was awesome. :) Our homes should only be an rough draft of what we want our Heaven to be.
